PAOLA MARIA CORPORATE VALUES
PRODUCTION
All clothes are produced in Organic standard GOTS
Paola Maria only works with factories that keep the EU standard of employment and does not employ Children.
ENVIRONMENT
Paola Maria started an organic line in the collection February 2008. We strongly believe in this line and can already see great response from the market. Our ambition is to grow in this segment as only the future can tell what will happen if we not all act for the environment.
As we know that the organic quality is a very much better choice for the environment, but also you can achieve a very high quality witch is so very soft and silky for the body, we have decided that we will as much as possible produce all our styles in organic qualities. We introduced the organic clothes February 2008 and we have experienced that this is what the market is craving. We are aiming from Spring 2010 collection all our clothes will be organic GOTS quality except for our clothes in fabrics where it is impossible to achieve organic standards. We are all the time looking in to how to develop new fabrics and qualities for organic.
All other clothes that are not organic GOTS are produced in OEKO-Tex ISO 100 fabrics. This is a standard that guarantees that everything produced is free from toxins and are safe and good for both nature and you who wear Paola Marias clothes.
PERSONAL ENGAGEMENT
Paola M Friberg founder and designer of Paola Maria are and have always been engaged in the environment and children’s rights. This engagement is coloring both the organization and choice of production partners.
As we meet mothers and children everyday and we see the importance of that every one is taking care of the environment. Also we know the value of getting the chance for a good fair start in life. We have decided since February 2009 that we also want to contribute for a better world. So we have decided to give 1% of our profit to UNICEF and with this we all help to look after children´s rights and hopefully help children in underdeveloped countries.
