Paola Maria is releasing dresses and tunics in organic cotton chiffon crepe fabric.
We are both happy and proud to inform that this week we got our first delivery of clothes in Organic cotton chiffon crepe fabric.
No one has succeeded to produce this before, only in the flat voile fabric. But after a lot of work from our factory/partner they succeed to produce it.

Paola Maria participates in a unique design exhibition during Sweden’s Presidency in Europe
2009 have by the European Commission announced as the year of ”Innovation and creativity”. Within this framework Sweden is showing a unique exhibition with participators such as Brio, Koenigsegg, Källemo, Paola Maria, TreTorn, Sony Ericsson to mention but a few.
The Exhibition will present projects and products from selected base of innovative and creative companies that have there platform in the south of Sweden.
The Southern region of Sweden ”Skåne” have for a long time profiled it as a dynamic region when it comes to work with questions regarding innovation and creativity.
The vision of the Exhibition is to show a mix of innovations and projects from the south of Sweden from a design, architecture and new media perspective. We want to show good examples and Paola Maria’s participation is a good example showing how creativity can be used to create added values and profitability in the mother wear segment. There are more then 45 companies represented in the exhibition.
The Exhibition FOR THE MOMENT is showing the creative progress that starts from our cultural heritage in the industrial evolution to innovative environments that reflects the importance of dialog and collaborations in between people and companies using culture and innovation as a main carrier. The technique used for the exhibition is unique. It is a combined virtual, digital and interactive experience that will bring all visiting a new experience that is mind blowing.

NEWS FOR THIS SEASON
The wonderful Chiffon dresses with nursing solution, perfect to wear to dinners, parties or official gatherings. The nursing solution/ access is designed in a hidden way so you can also use the dress as a maternity wear during the whole pregnancy. We did a prerelease in selected stores for the Christmas holidays and moms loved them everywhere.
The organic line with many new colors and styles, is the line that is growing fastest in the collection. The cotton is of top quality and one can really feel smoothness of the clothes when wearing them.
More and more stores choose to buy organic clothes and Paola Marias vision is to produce most of the collection in organic materials in certified factories. We like to see us as a green company that takes an environmental responsibility.
The trend line delivers nice season’s colors and patterns that make you happy. The special designed flower motives are wonderful. They are both minimalistic and naïve at the same time a mix I did not think could work bit it does. There are also some flower motives in the organic line… The one colored dresses and tunics that have become the “signum” of Paola Maria comes in some beautiful colors complementing the basic line colors; Black, White, Off white and duck green.
Last but not least, the Paola Maria maternity jeans are becoming really trendy in some cities in Europe. –So let’s see witch will be the next one…

After a few years of struggling for success with the maternity jeans
we are seeing the result of the refined design and development of
some of the details.
The jeans are launched under the name Paola Maria Maternity Jeans.
And the market is now ready for a brand that can offer mothers jeans
that they can wear a long time after they have delivered their baby.
At the CPD Dutch TV did an interview with Paola about the jeans. It will
be broadcasted in September.
